by Jayne Raparelli
Jayne Raparelli and her husband, Mike McDonough, once did something that many of us dream about: they quit their jobs, and hit the road to see America. They
sold their home and gave away their possessions to tent camp for a year-and-a-half in all 50 states.
In her book, Finding Our Way: Journey Across America, Jayne examines the
fears, pitfalls and joys of transforming a dream into reality. She shares the insights she gained while exploring the natural wonders of our vast country. She writes about being caught in a
violent storm while hiking in the Petrified National Forest, discovering remote Smith Island where Elizabethean English is still spoken, and having a bear visit their campsite. Reading about
these adventures and many others will make you feel you are right there with her.
Praise for Finding Our Way:
"reminds us of the beauty of nature, the Oneness of creation, and the power of
dreams," Rebecca Mitchell Merriman, author of Writing Out The Storm.
"Finding Our Way: Journey Across America takes the reader to unexpected
and unexplored places of your outer world and inner self. This book helps the reader realize that new discoveries are not only possible, but likely to change the direction
of your life." Carol J. Smucker, co-author of Nursing the Spirit: The Art and Science
of Applying Spiritual Care.
