Great Eastern Trail (GET) – Information about construction and management of a long distance hiking trail from Georgia to New York State.
Tennessee Trails Association – State wide organization for hikers. Chapters all over the state.
Friends of the Cumberland Trail – Works to preserve and interpret the culture and flora of the Cumberland Trail. Provides nature hikes and interpretive sessions in conjunction with Park Rangers.
North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy – Works to conserve and enhance natural, cultural, and recreational resources of the North Chickamauga Creek watershed.
Government Agencies
Cumberland Trail State Scenic Trail HQ – Official site for the State Park that manages the 300 mile Cumberland trail corridor. Ranger walks, interpretive programs and special event.
Obed Wild and Scenic River National Park – Part of the National Park system. Manages the waters and lands adjacent to the Obed River. The CT runs for more than 14 miles along the Obed.
Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency – Information about various state game lands the CT passes through or near.
