“Some of the richest memories I have were made while hiking and camping on the CT. When I think of the times that the CT has brought me the joy of adventure, the peace of being in forest stillness, or the healing spaciousness of the outdoors when life feels like its walls are closing in then I’m filled with gratitude for those who built these trails and made it accessible to us all. When I found out about volunteer days I jumped right on it! It’s fun to imagine those who will benefit from the trails I helped build.”
When Dustin isn’t volunteering with the CTC he works as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the Crossville area. He is an avid meditator and ordained Buddhist minister which has resulted in lots of time on silent retreat in nature. His canine companion Bodhi has hiked every inch of the CT trails in Cumberland County with him.
