Volunteer Trail Building – Upper Piney River

The long anticipated construction of Upper Piney River has begun and we are looking for volunteers! It’s likely to be one of the most beautiful segments the Cumberland Trail has to offer featuring waterfalls, boulder gardens, rock formations, overlooks and a variety of wildflowers!

When: February 11 & 12th @ 8:30am ET
Where: Upper Piney River Segment
Meet up at: Big Apple Market on Hwy 68.
Physical address is 1543 Wassom Memorial Hwy, Spring City, TN 37381

Tools will be provided. Please bring work gloves, dress appropriately for weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring water and snacks.

Please meet crew by 8:30am ET at the Big Apple Market on Hwy 68 in Spring City TN. The workday will be from 8:30am to 3:00-3:30pm each day. Volunteer for one or both days as your schedule allows.
